Our client in Edmonton is currently seeking an Emergency Response Recruiter with at least 2 years of experience in recruitment, to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of the Alberta healthcare system, and intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for emergency response personnel, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates
• Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment of emergency response professionals
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for high-priority roles
• Maintain and update a database of qualified candidates for emergency response positions
• Screen and assess candidate qualifications and match them with client requirements
• Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience
• Stay up-to-date with trends in the Alberta healthcare system and emergency response needs to improve recruitment strategies
• Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and credential verification processes for potential hires
• Manage recruitment metrics, reporting regularly on the progress of recruitment goals and KPIs
• Assist in onboarding new hires and facilitate training sessions where applicable
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, emergency response organizations, and other stakeholders
• Ad-hoc duties as requested
