Were growing and looking for a skilled, ambitious, and results-driven Business Development Representative (Executive Membership Advisor) to help expand our community of forward-thinking business leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and qualifying CEOs, senior executives, and entrepreneurs who are looking to elevate their leadership skills and take their companies to the next level. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding TECs national network and strengthening our vibrant community of forward-thinking leaders.
You are a self-motivated, curious go-getter who thrives on building meaningful relationships while managing multiple workflows with precision. As the first point of contact for prospective members, you will represent TEC Canada to some of the countrys top business leaders, building rapport, uncovering their goals, and positioning TECs services as the solution to help them achieve personal and business success.
Youll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team focused on growing, engaging, and celebrating our membership. Reporting directly to the Director of Member Experience, you will play a key role in shaping the future of TEC Canadas community.
This position is in office, based in Calgary, AB, and operates out of TEC Canadas downtown Calgary office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, identify, and engage potential CEOs, founders, and senior executives, initiating high-quality outreach and leading confident, professional conversations at the executive level, guiding them through a structured process to ensure alignment with TECs membership criteria.
- Understand prospective members business goals and challenges through consultative discovery conversations, and clearly communicate how TECs value proposition can help them achieve meaningful results.
- Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and industry insights to prospect strategically, prioritize high-value opportunities, build and maintain a strong, ongoing pipeline of high-potential candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle - from sourcing and qualifying candidates to leadingassessment conversations, and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Partner with senior executive facilitators who lead CEO peer groups, to understand ideal member profiles and ensure prospects are matched to the right group for long-term success.
- Engage with and qualify leads from TECs targeted marketing initiatives demonstrating strong follow-up, persistence, and executive presence, while nurturing relationships with past candidates for future opportunities.
- Accurately track, analyze, and report on sales recruitment activities in TECs CRM system, using data and insights to improve outreach effectiveness, conversion, and pipeline quality.
- Through continuously building and nurturing a dynamic pipeline of candidates, consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets and sales goals.
- Implement and maintain a strategic follow-up system to stay connected with past candidates, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and long-term point of contact ensuring readiness to re-engage.
