Are you interested in making a discovery? Ore Group, a natural resources organization managing multiple TSXV-listed companies, is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development. We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced professional to drive growth across a dynamic portfolio of mining assets.
This position offers a hands-on opportunity within an entrepreneurial team environment. You’ll work across all facets of corporate development, collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategy, financing, marketing, and operational initiatives, from exploration through to shareholder engagement.
Who We’re Looking For
Toronto-based mining professional with deep interest in the industry and the ability to learn the full mining lifecycle.
Ideal candidates have experience in Investment Banking, Investor Relations, or Corporate Development and are excited about diving into all aspects of the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support and lead corporate development activities across Ore Group’s portfolio.
Engage in capital raising and marketing activities to drive investor interest and funding.
Oversee shareholder communications and manage regulatory requirements post-financing.
Provide strategic insight and contribute to business growth from exploration through to project development.
Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and stakeholders.
What You Bring
Capital Markets Experience : Proven experience in the mining, investment, or capital markets sectors, with a solid understanding of exploration, development, and financing in Canada.
Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication abilities; able to connect effectively with investors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Entrepreneurial Mindset : Eager to tackle all tasks, from hands-on work to high-level strategy, with a proactive approach to taking direction and leading.
Attention to Detail : Rigorous attention to accuracy and detail in all corporate communications, financial models, and presentations.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Geology, Mining Engineering, Business, Finance); a strong educational background in mining or finance will be an asset.
