We are in the search for a Business Program Manager to join our team located in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with managing operations and driving program initiatives, assuring alignment with organizational and provincial guidelines. Your focus will lie in strategic planning, compliance, quality enhancement, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the growth and sustainability of our program.

Responsibilities :

The Business Program Manager will work closely with the leadership team, and consultants to drive program initiatives, manage operations, and ensure alignment with organizational and provincial standards. This role emphasizes strategic planning, compliance, quality improvement, and stakeholder engagement to sustain and grow programs in accordance with Ontario’s guidelines and municipal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Lead program initiatives with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for program growth and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with leadership on new policies and service improvements.
  • Support professional development, KPIs, and team performance.
  • Drive department digitization and technical skill-building efforts.
  • Monitor program objectives and outcomes for alignment with organizational goals.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to changing regulations by updating policies and practices.
  • Conduct audits to maintain quality standards and licensing requirements.
  • Financial Management

  • Assist in budgeting and manage resource allocation efficiently.
  • Prepare funding, expense, and financial forecasting reports.
  • Oversee contracts with affiliated providers.
  • Provider Support & Development

  • Organize training, workshops, and recruitment strategies to enhance service delivery.
  • Facilitate best practices and resource-sharing sessions.
  • Reporting & Communication

  • Present regular performance and growth reports to senior management.
  • Partner with marketing to promote services and recruitment.
  • Develop materials for in-person, hybrid, and virtual program delivery.
  • Act as a liaison with government bodies, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Education : Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Master’s in Social Services, or related field.
  • Experience : 3+ years in program or business management. Not-for-profit experience.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and database tools; advanced IT and Excel expertise.
  • Key Skills : Leadership, communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving.
  • Other Requirements :
  • Strong organizational and financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • English fluency (verbal and written), with the ability to produce reports and correspondence.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
