Type : Part-time, Contract, 100% Commission-Based

About Auxo : Auxo has been a pivotal partner to the tech startup ecosystem since 2020, specializing in recruiting top talent for innovative, high-growth companies across various industries such as fintech, sportstech, insuretech, HR tech, healthtech, and more. With a focus on pre-seed to Series C VC-backed startups, we have successfully worked with over 50 startups in North America, helping them scale their teams effectively.

Role Overview : We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong business development skills, familiarity with the recruitment industry, and a solid network within the tech and startup communities in Canada and the USA. Your primary focus will be on client acquisition—identifying and securing new business opportunities and passing leads to the account management team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Proactively identify and target potential clients within the tech startup space, focusing on innovative and VC-backed companies in need of recruitment services.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, utilizing various outreach strategies including networking, social media, and other sales techniques.
  • Engage with key decision-makers, introducing Auxo’s services and establishing initial contact.
  • Pass qualified leads to the account management team for further development and closure.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record in lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Familiarity with the recruitment industry, particularly within tech and startup environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business professionals at all levels.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a clear focus on high-quality lead generation.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada or the USA.
  • Compensation : This is a 100% commission-based role with competitive rates, providing a significant opportunity for high earnings based on performance.
