Are you an experienced Database Administrator looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle 19c, SQL Server 2019 or higher, and Cloud SQL PaaS services (Azure) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining high-availability database environments while ensuring optimal performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness. You will carry out performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, database security administration, and schema maintenance, collaborating closely with development teams to enhance disaster recovery procedures. To be successful, you should have at least five (5) years of experience in database administration, including hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata, Data Guard, RAC, RMAN, Datapump, and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). Additional expertise with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Commvault, and relevant certifications such as OCP or Azure certifications would be a strong asset. - 36 month contract position
- Candidates must be eligible for Reliability level clearance (5+ years in Canada)
