The Company is seeking a Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering to join its senior executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and implementing the strategic vision for maintenance and engineering, driving fleet maintenance strategy, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and optimizing fleet availability. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and quality, and involves managing vendor relationships, leading procurement negotiations, and building partnerships with manufacturers and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will be a visionary, results-driven leader with a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance, and will have a proven track record in strategic planning, fleet acquisition, and operational efficiency.
Applicants for the Vice President, Maintenance, and Engineering position at the company should have at least 15 years' experience in aviation maintenance and engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles. A degree in engineering, aviation management, business, or a related field is essential, with an advanced degree preferred. The role requires expertise in aviation regulations, quality assurance, and demonstrated experience in fleet acquisition and asset management. The candidate must be committed to maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards and be eligible to be designated as the Person Responsible for Maintenance by the relevant aviation authority.
