Hamilton Sports Group is seeking a dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented Content Producer to lead our audio and video production efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing the energy of live sports events, crafting compelling narratives around our teams and players, and producing high-quality content for multiple platforms. Your expertise will help elevate our brand and engage audiences across broadcasts, podcasts, social media, and digital channels.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary Content Producer for the Ticats and Forge Audio Networks—digital streaming platforms that provide live audio broadcasts of Tiger-Cats games and a series of podcasts featuring insightful analysis, player and coach interviews, and exclusive team content. These networks are accessible via the official websites of both teams YouTube and major audio streaming platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Produce live broadcasts for the Audio Network, covering all home and away games, including two pre-season games, 18 regular-season games, and potential playoff matchups.
- Develop and oversee game day scripting for live broadcasts.
- Troubleshoot and manage technical issues related to broadcasts, working with third-party contractors to ensure seamless production.
- Curate engaging player and team storylines and provide content insights to on-air talent.
- Identify and pitch newsworthy story ideas related to the Tiger-Cats Football Club, Forge FC, and associated programs.
- Book and coordinate guests, including players, coaches, and special guests
- Oversee the production of all Audio Network podcasts, including content review and tagging key segments for social media promotion.
- Manage podcast production technology to ensure high-quality recordings and post-production.
- Create video and graphic content for social media, websites, marketing materials, and game-day activations using content from broadcasts and podcasts.
- Attend and cover daily media conferences at Hamilton Stadium.
- Edit and enhance video content using Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Integrate B-roll footage, add graphical elements and animations, and export final videos in required formats.
- Prepare and set up filming equipment (e.g., tripods, monitors, lighting, cables) for on-site and off-site productions.
Qualifications :
