Recognition and career development. Yorkville is a progressive, forward-thinking, innovative education centre. This is a visibly impactful, reputation-building role with real-world impact, focused on meeting the diverse needs of students, disrupting traditional programming, and nurturing collaboration. You will have the option to develop and deliver courses in other areas that you hold a post-graduate degree. You want to join a place that inspires change, supports faculty and students in their journey, and continuously innovates.
As our new Sessional Faculty, you will :

- Support student success. You will offer academic advice and guidance to students by holding regular office hours to support learning outcomes. You will provide timely, constructive feedback and responses to correspondence.
- Expand your knowledge. You will engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional development, leveraging information from various sources, including student evaluations of learning, to identify areas for growth as an educator. You will contribute to and learn from interactions within and outside of your department, participating in meetings and events as needed.
- Leverage expertise. You will collaborate cross-functionally with academic and student services, teaching and learning design, program leadership, and student services to meet our high delivery and evaluation standards and ensure the integrity of the learning experience.
- Contribute to our growth as an exceptional post-secondary institution. You will work with administrators and colleagues to advance your academic area and enhance the Yorkville community.
