Adecco is currently seeking a meticulous and highly organized Banking Account Transitions Coordinator to join our client's team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing account transitions, investigating transfer status, and ensuring timely and efficient account transfers while providing exceptional client experience. If you're passionate about client service and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, this could be the role for you.
Pay rate : $28.62 / hour.
Location : Toronto, ON
Shifts : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :
Meticulous attention to detail when investigating transfers to ensure accuracy.
Overseeing transition mailboxes and initiating or investigating transfers within a 24-hour SLA.
Contacting clients when transfers are not in good order (NIGO) and providing clear explanations for rejections.
Contacting relinquishing institutions up to 75 times per day to check the status of transfer requests.
Reviewing rejected transfers and resubmitting them in good order.
Handling cash and securities journals.
Engaging with clients to resolve issues related to account transitions.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, creating efficiencies, and enhancing client satisfaction.
Working with internal teams to foster digital adoption and continuous improvement.
Generating scheduled and ad-hoc reports for both internal and external requirements.
Meeting with clients to discuss transfer processes and requirements.
Identifying trends in transfer initiation, rejections, and asset movements.
Drafting and updating user guides as needed.
Expectation of overtime during high-volume periods. Requirements :
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Post-secondary education with 2-3 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Prior experience with IBM-OSS, AS400 CDS / ARROW, and FUNDSERV is considered an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Attention to detail with a clear sense of urgency in managing transfers and client requests.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
Proven ability to work in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
Bi-lingual (French) is an asset.
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification is a plus.
