Description de posteEducation : At least 2 years of university experience, ideally in subjects aligned with the BC curriculum such as : Math, Science, Socials, English, French, Biology, Chemistry, Physics! Experience : Prior tutoring experience, volunteer work in education, or roles that support student learning Passion : A strong desire to inspire, mentor, and help students achieve their academic goals Reliable Transportation & Commuting : The tutor must be able to commute to students' homes for in-person sessions. Flexibility : You have the freedom to set your own schedule—choose the dates and times that work best for you. No more rigid hours! Consistency : Build strong, lasting relationships with students through regular weekly sessions held on the same day and time each week, ensuring stability for both you and the students. Guaranteed Pay : If a student cancels within 24 hours, you’ll still receive one hour of pay. This ensures financial stability, so you can focus on teaching without the stress of last-minute changes. Limited Prep Work : You receive access to ready-made resources for student learning. You won’t need to spend extra time creating materials—just focus on teaching! Total Control Over Your Caseload : You decide how many students you want to work with and who those students are. Pre-Screened Students : We send an education consultant to each home to assess the family, student needs, and provide you with detailed information about the student’s grade, challenges, learning style, and expectations. This allows you to be fully prepared before you begin working with a new student. Competitive Pay : $20-25 per hour (depending on the subjects and grade level) Bonuses for Success : Earn bonuses for student renewals and 5-star Google reviews from families—your efforts are truly rewarded!
