SUMMARY OF POSITION :
- To adhere to all specifications and details of the West CoastSeniors Housing Management (WCSHM) Bus Policy and the WCSHM Code of Conduct Policy.
- To provideassistance to recreation staff as needed during outings.
- To incurand maintain the costs of a cell phone for the purpose of communication with thefacility / staff.
- Tomaintain a professional appearance by adhering to the dress code of dresspants, button up collar shirt and name tag.
- To ensure bus is up to date with all maintenance and repairs, book appointments at garage, pick up / drop off bus for appointments.
Allrepairs need prior approval from the Recreation Manager or General Manager.
- To arriveat outings departure location a minimum of 15 minutes prior to departure time.
- To cleanout the interior of the bus following every outing, wiping all touchpoints withantibacterial cleaner and wash the exterior of the bus according to seasonalcleaning schedule (cost of cleaning would be reimbursed with submitted receipt).
- In the event of inclementweather to contact Recreation Manager / General Manager to determine whether safeto do outing.
If cancellation of outing occurs for any reason after driver ison the property, driver will be paid for a minimum of 1 hour.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Class 4 Drivers License
- Proof of annual criminal records check;
- Proofof G.S.T. Registrant Status; where applicable and required by law
- Proofof Sole Proprietorship or Incorporation; where applicable and required by law
- Proof of personal insurance up to $2,000,000;
- Proofof professional insurance up to $2,000,000; where applicable and required bylaw
- Proofof any applicable membership or license registration required by thejurisdiction within which the Facility is located;
and Workers’ CompensationAccount Number (WSB in B.C)
