Our client is a small family-owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They have a very friendly and tightknit team culture. They are in the real estate financial services industry. What- the Role :

On behalf of our client, Swim Recruiting is seeking a new Accounts Receivable Administrator.  The AR Administrator will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will also work very closely with the owners / business partners. The AR Administrator will be responsible for tracking and recording payments from customers, resolving discrepancies, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments, maintaining accurate written and financial / accounting records, generating AR reports, and ensuring credit policies and procedures are being met.

SWIM will provide interested candidates with a full list of responsibilities.

Who- the Candidate :

We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years specifically in accounts receivable.  Post-secondary education in accounting is highly preferred, such as an accounting diploma or certificate. Intermediate level proficiency in Excel is required, as is hands-on experience using a financial system such as Sage 50.

Candidates will have a friendly, clear, and professional communication style, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a new employee who will be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and trust-worthy.

How Much :

Competitive base salary commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education, likely in the range of $52,000 to $64,000. The new AR Administrator will also be eligible for 3 weeks paid vacation, paid medical / sick days, a small discretionary performance-based bonus, and a health spending account.

Where :

The office is based in Delta - we’re ideally looking for someone who lives in Delta, or nearby in Surrey, Tsawwassen, White Rock, etc. Full-time in-office Monday-to-Friday 9am to 5pm. Free employee parking.
