Structural / Civil Engineer P.Eng

Phasor Engineering Inc. is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting company with offices located in Burnaby, BC and Calgary, AB. We provide engineering design services for utility companies, industrial companies, and municipalities. This is a staff Civil / Structural Engineer position in our Burnaby, BC office, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Detailed technical knowledge of structural engineering design, including steel and concrete structures, shallow and deep foundations.
• Knowledge of Civil works including site preparation, earthworks and retaining walls.
• Professional knowledge of applicable Canadian codes and standards.
• Proficient in STAAD-Pro software and experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with other structural engineering software such as RISA is an asset.
• Strong understanding of safety in design principles.
• Ability to lead a small to medium‑size design project from start to completion with minimal oversight.
• Ability to mentor / provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Results‑oriented and self‑driven with experience juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Strong and confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce clear documentation and explain technical concepts to internal and external parties.
• Client‑focused; attend client meetings and maintain good working relationships with clients.
