Position Overview

En tant que directeur général, vous êtes responsable de vous concentrer sur le perfectionnement des talents de leadership, la gestion d’une entreprise rentable et l’exécution d’initiatives stratégiques pour offrir une expérience client exceptionnelle et dépasser les résultats financiers. As the General Manager, you are responsible for focusing on developing leadership talent, running a profitable business and executing strategic initiatives to deliver an exceptional customer experience and exceed financial results. Success is achieved through optimizing customer engagement, deliberate talent development and increasing overall productivity, while delivering the highest level of brand integrity standards. You are the link between the brand vision and how it comes to life in your store.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assumer la responsabilité directe du rendement des ventes et des profits, en veillant à ce que les objectifs de ventes et de marge soient atteints • Assumer la responsabilité de la planification stratégique et de l’exécution des initiatives de l’entreprise, en optimisant l’incidence de l’emplacement de votre magasin • Créer une expérience client uniforme alignée sur les attentes de la marque RL en établissant une vision visant à inspirer l’équipe de votre magasin • Façonner une stratégie de développement de la clientèle et diriger les efforts de sensibilisation de la communauté au sein de votre marché • Établir une stratégie de talents pour votre magasin, en bâtissant et en développant une équipe avec le client au centre des préoccupations, qui peut concrétiser la vision du magasin. • Trouver, recruter et retenir les talents hautement performants grâce à une rétroaction et un encadrement continus • Éduquer et former l’équipe pour développer de nouvelles compétences et améliorer les capacités • Maintenir des normes de productivité exceptionnelles grâce à une gestion impeccable des processus, y compris des objectifs de réduction des stocks et des magasins • Promouvoir l’utilisation de nouvelles technologies pour soutenir de nouvelles manières de vendre et de nouvelles manières de magasiner afin de stimuler les résultats commerciaux • Respecter toutes les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise • Fournir de la rétroaction aux partenaires interfonctionnels, en identifiant le potentiel de profit élevé et les tendances commerciales de la catégorie pour le marché de votre magasin • S’assurer que la surface de vente et toutes les normes du magasin dépassent les attentes en tout temps • Créer un environnement inclusif aligné sur les valeurs fondamentales de Ralph Lauren et les domaines d’intérêt culturels
  • Direct responsibility for sales and profit performance, ensuring sales & margin goals are met
  • Own strategic planning and execution of company initiatives, optimizing impact for your store location
  • Create a consistent customer experience aligned to RL brand expectations by setting a vision to inspire your store team
  • Shape a client development strategy and lead community outreach efforts in your market
  • Set talent strategy for your store, building and developing a team with the customer at its core, who can deliver on your vision
  • Source, recruit and retain high performing talent through continuous feedback and coaching
  • Educate and train team to build new skills and enhance capabilities
  • Maintain exceptional productivity standards through impeccable process management including inventory and store shrink goals
  • Champion use of new technology in support of New Ways of Selling techniques and More Ways to Shop to drive business result
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures
  • Provide feedback to cross-functional partners, identifying high profit potential and category business trends for your store market
  • Ensure sales floor and all store standards exceed expectations at all times

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Un diplôme d’associé ou baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente • Expérience en gestion de la vente au détail ou expérience similaire de l’industrie dans un environnement spécialisé complexe, à volume élevé ou de haut niveau, un atout • Capacité de communiquer efficacement avec les clients et le personnel du magasin • Capacité de manœuvrer autour de la surface de vente, de la salle d’entreposage/de l’habillage, du comptoir-caisse et du bureau; travail autour/avec des produits chimiques, levage/montant jusqu’à 14 kg (30 lb) et escalade modérée • Capacité d’utiliser la caisse, de se tenir debout, de se déplacer et de marcher pendant plusieurs heures • Capacité de travailler selon un horaire flexible pour répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise, ce qui nécessitera des quarts de travail de nuit et des déplacements (au besoin) • Expérience avérée en matière de réussite, y compris une capacité reconnue à établir et à maintenir des relations de travail positives avec les clients, la direction et les collègues. • Sens des affaires • Solides aptitudes pour la planification et l’établissement des priorités et la gestion du temps
  • College Degree or equivalent a plus
  • Retail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
  • Proven track record of success, including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management and co-workers.
