ABOUT THE PROJECT : The company is supporting a major provincial utility organization undertaking multiple initiatives to modernize, enhance, and sustain critical systems and business processes.The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects aligning with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. This role requires strong leadership, governance, and delivery discipline within a structured public-sector environment. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, IT, vendors, and external partners
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within approved budgets
- Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and executive communications
- Manage project risks, issues, and change requests using established methodologies
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support procurement, vendor coordination, and contract management activities
- Lead stakeholder engagement and change management activities
- Produce and maintain project documentation and artifacts
REQUIREMENTS : Must-have :
7+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering complex business and IT projectsProven experience managing projects in structured or regulated environmentsStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and dependenciesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience producing formal project documentation and reportsAbility to work onsite or remotely aligned to Regina, SaskatchewanNice-to-have :
