Responsibilities :
- Assist in refining all system engineering concepts and reports, and oversee the design process, ensuring it aligns with construction budgets.
- Ensure thorough coordination of documents with the internal and external project team, including other disciplines, interior designers, and architects.
- Review all project deliverables - reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings for accuracy at various development stages, adhering to quality management standards.
Enforce and promote company standards related to processes, documentation, and project administration.
- Recommend and / or apply project procurement methodologies relevant to individual projects.
- Coordinate with the contract administration team as it relates to proper setup of contract administration processes, drawing reviews, and site activities.
Prepare or review all change notices and prepare contract amendments.
- Conduct or arrange reviews of existing installations, interpreting and managing their impact on the project. Prepare all necessary calculations and select appropriate equipment, delegating tasks to Designers and CAD / BIM drafters as needed.
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within the budget and schedule. Address any project related technical and financial queries and support the accounts receivable process.
- Continuously monitor a schedule of tasks required to complete projects.
- Lead and assist with employee development, performance reviews, recruitment and selection, and employee relations.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years’ experience within project engineering for mechanical building services.
- P.Eng. or able to qualify with APEGBC within 1 year is preferred.
- C.E.T. with equivalent experience and capabilities will also be considered.
- LEED certification is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of British Columbia Building Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA and CSA standards.
- Proficiency with Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated experience working in complex environments with multiple clients and projects concurrently.

- $105K - $120K+ base salary
