Mine Survey Technician
The Mine Technician will play a key roleinnavigating and coordinating mining activities associated withoptimization of miningoperations
RoleRESPONSIBILITIES :
- Adhereand follow compliance with the CompanysHealth and Safety rules aswell as understandOHSAs rules andregulations.
- Provide accurate surveys forlayouts Site layouts Month end reportsetc.
- Survey sample prepare and analyzeblastholes samples.
- Organize campaign andanalyze samples.
- Understand localgeology
- Manage wasteprogressand rehabilitationaccording to the waste designs.
- Monitor andassist with stockpile management manage stockpile elevation andcleanup.
- Assist with procurement whennecessary.
- Proficient in conducting LIDARphotogrammetry surveys and creating 3D models of thearea.
Roleequirements :
- Diplomafrom a college or university in mining engineering or GeoTechnicianis preferred but other technical discipline will beconsidered.
- Understanding of quality controland quality system.
- Valid Ontario Driverslicense
- Drone Pilot certificate is anasset
- Trimble / Leica survey equipment usage isan asset
- Knowledge of a miningsoftware likeSurpac. Pix 4D etc. is an asset.
- Understandingsampling and quality rules.
- Work outside inNorthern Ontarioweather
