Operator - Video Surveillance

As an Integrated Guarding Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring live video feeds while based within our Operations Centre in Burnaby. The role requires quick decision-making and the ability to handle alarm events and incidents efficiently while maintaining professionalism. You should be comfortable working independently, and be confident and assertive to use verbal communication over a two-way radio to deter active crime.

Location : This role is fully office-based in our Operations Centre in Burnaby.

Shifts : We are currently looking for full-time Operators. All schedules include at least one weekend shift , and may include afternoon and overnight shifts.

Pay Rate : $25.00 / hour

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a Security Officer and / or in a monitoring dispatch environment
• Excellent situational awareness, judgement, and decision-making under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in an Operations Centre environment
• Comfortable with using security monitoring platforms and technology
• Experience with Immix GF is considered an asset
• Ability to notice and act on small details that could be crucial in preventing security breaches
