Developmental Support Worker with Momentum Developmental Support

Location : Seafair Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

We are seeking a community‑oriented, difference‑making superstar to join Momentum Developmental Support’s team. Momentum began as a residential‑care system for adults with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities and has evolved to focus on enhancing futures through a range of services.

Responsibilities

As a Developmental Support Worker, you will :

Work with clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles.
Promote independence through individualized programming, including recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money‑management activities.
Support clients' well‑being while fostering an environment where every day is unique and engaging.

Qualifications

Required :

Highschool Diploma (post‑secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset).

Experience working in a support role with adults, preferably with intellectual and developmental disabilities and / or mental health disorders.

Driver's licence.

Validated medical report including immunisation records and TB skin test, record of conduct, vulnerable sector check, and First Aid AED / CPR Level C certification.

Salary & Benefits

Salary $19.08 per hour as per the collective agreement.
