Mobile Maintenance Technician

Matchbox is working with a leading property management company in search of a skilled Mobile Technician . This role involves traveling to multiple sites to ensure high-quality living spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks at various locations, coordinating with sub-trades as needed.
  • Address maintenance requests from residents, including minor electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
  • Conduct property walkthroughs, identifying and reporting issues to management.
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Assist with exterior maintenance, including snow removal and grounds upkeep.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and service requests, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of building codes, including the Residential Tenancy Act and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Experience with building systems and general repairs.
  • Access to vehicle and clean driving record is required.
