This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring / Summer, 2026; it will be a full-time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities

The Photo Assistant Manager will effectively operate the Photo Concession Facilities at the Banff Gondola. The role focuses on guest service, an engaged team, and generating maximum revenue through sales of souvenir photos. Responsibilities include reporting on purchase orders, receiving reports, department payroll, annual labour budget, and annual report.

• Lead, scheduling and guest service and sales training.
• Developing, implementing and inspiring the photo teams; superior sales and customer service.
• Coordinating new inventory purchases with the retail / photo manager.
• Ensuring that all department operations are properly executed, and all company policies and procedures are followed, particularly health and safety.
• Maintain POS system and recommend ancillary revenue products associated with souvenir photographs.
• Track inventory, purchase orders and invoices in a well-organized manner. Implement inventory controls and invoice controls on all shipments received for Photo Kiosks.
• Identifying and implementing facility / equipment needs and improvements and coordinating purchase of goods and services required.
• Cost control of operating expenses; maintain good working relationships with tour group companies, suppliers, and other departments.
