Job description

Job Title : Material Handler (Forklift)

Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Pay : $22.00 / hour

Location : Burlington, ON - Sutton Drive and Pachino Court

This is a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced automotive production facility. The ideal candidate will have long term experience as a material handler and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. We are looking for candidates who can interview and start as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trailers manually and using a forklift / pump truck.
Move product between warehouse and production / heat treating spaces.
Ensure all incoming / outgoing parts are tagged and matched with proper documentation.
Notify Production Manager of any untagged parts in the shipping area.
Coordinate courier and freight services as needed.
Respond to customer inquiries related to shipping / receiving.
Support heat treating and anodizing operations as necessary.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2+ years of recent counterbalance forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and complete general labour duties

Valid counterbalance forklift license

Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, verbal - English)

Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
