An Align Integration Specialist (“IS”) is a practical clinical expert that partners with customers and Sales Territory Managers to drive the digital adoption of iTero intraoral scanners in dental offices. Based in the field and working closely with Sales Territory Managers, the IS is a key partner to both the customer and sales partner, leveraging dental office processes, workflows, the dental industry, and iTero proficiency. As a clinical expert and a sales team member, you build relationships with doctors, provide tailored insights, and inspire them to modernize and grow their business with iTero digital technology.
Role Expectations
- Strategically work with sales and commercial support functions to prioritize opportunities and enable customer efficiencies.
- Act as a clinical mentor to internal and external partners, including train‑the‑trainer functions (IDI).
- Stay engaged with dental care organizations to stay abreast of industry trends that impact customers.
- Provide clinical input for new product development and software enhancements based on industry knowledge.
- Use a consultative selling approach to advise customers on industry trends, consumer profiles, and digital technology implementation to meet territory sales targets.
- Analyze data / analytics to drive customer decision‑making.
- Educate customers on iTero products to ensure practice comfort and alignment with Invisalign services.
- Work independently on critical tasks with high urgency.
- Coordinate internal resources to optimize the customer experience and promote Align / iTero solutions.
- Diagnose issues, triage and execute solutions while communicating results to leadership.
- Manage travel bookings within company guidelines and submit expense reports timely.
- Maintain a bias toward action, self‑motivation, and a proactive attitude.
- Other special projects or duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a training or consulting role.Minimum 4 years of similar experience, preferably in the dental or orthodontic industry.Relevant clinical education and experience (e.g., dental hygienist).Preferred experience in the orthodontic sector.Committed to delivering high‑standard customer service.Strong time‑management, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to navigate change and operate with speed and agility.Strong teamwork skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to present complex information clearly.Charismatic presenter for audiences of varying sizes.Computer proficiency : Windows OS, Microsoft Office, internet research.Fluent in English; French language skills required for Quebec customers.Valid driver’s license with good driving record.Legally authorized to work in Canada and willing to travel to the US occasionally.Travel requirement : 25‑40% field travel, including business trips as needed.Important Notes
