Gas Fitter (Class A)

Our client is seeking a Gas Fitter (Class A) to join their team. As a Gas Fitter, you will install, test, maintain, and repair gas appliances and their components and systems in ICI facilities. You will study installation drawings and specifications, install and wire controls, perform boiler vessel repairs and upgrades, troubleshoot issues with boiler systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and internal company policies.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid BC Class A or B gas fitting ticket
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Working knowledge of standard practices, operations, and building codes
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite products
• Able and willing to travel to multiple sites, including overnight and out-of-town travel
• Able and willing to work overtime and weekends
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
