Our Automation & Digitalization division is seeking a Drafting Technician for our Richmond, BC office. The successful candidate will perform detailed drafting for industrial design drawing packages while ensuring that project deliverables are of high quality and conform to project standards.

What You Will Be Doing

Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise :

• Develop drawings using AutoCAD from rough or detailed sketches or specifications such as equipment and room layouts, cable block diagrams, single lines, schematics / wiring diagrams, and field mark-ups
• Coordinate drafting requirements with project managers
• Check project deliverables for consistency and conformity
• Generate transmittals and maintain drawing databases and archives
• Maintain knowledge of internal and customer standards

Salary range 50,000 to 65,000; based on a work week.
