Our Richmond client, a very successful owner operated business in the Aviation sector, is looking to hire an (Intermediate level) Accountant for their team. The (Intermediate level) Accountant will spend roughly 45% of their time focused on Billing / Invoicing. This is a multi-company environment and billings are project based and very complex. They require dealing with multiple vendors in various areas and collecting this information, reviewing it against contract terms and creating invoices for our client's customers. Additional duties will include AP (roughly 40% of the time) and about 15% of the Accountant's time will be focused on ME support including compiling monthly financial reports for management and intercompany reconciliations. This is a growth role where the "right person" could take on doing full cycle accounting (including financial statements and reporting) for one of the companies down the road.

Job Requirements :

The ideal (Intermediate level) Accountant has experience in (project based) billings and has worked in multi-company environment. You must have very strong MS Excel skills and SAGE 50 experience is an asset. As there is a significant level of interaction with contractors and vendors, strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
