Universal Staffing Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Warehouse Manager with one of our valued clients here in the Moncton area.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and have excellent verbal / written communication skills.
Previous management experience in the transportation industry required.
Job Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
- Monitor and report transportation costs
- Keep organized records of all warehouse dealings (such as vehicles and schedules)
- Supervise and train warehouse staff
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs
- Work in the warehouse alongside staff as well as in the office
- Proficiency in operating forklifts
- Other duties as required
Skills :
- Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet required deadlines
- 5+ years in related field required
- Schooling in related field an asset but not required
- This role requires a criminal background check*
Pay : $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 per week
