Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX : As the Business Analyst you will act as the conduit between Technology and multiple business teams to deliver a best-in-class experience for our guests. You will be an integral part of a Discovery-focused team tasked with advancing our technology roadmap and bringing high-impact projects to life. You will lead our team by eliciting and analyzing requirements for projects, features and guest experience enhancements. Additionally, you will facilitate collaboration between business and technical resources and document business processes and / or systems and their integrations. Meet your future team : The Guest Services Technology team at Arc’teryx aims to set the standard in the outdoor industry as premier technology partners and experts. Collaborating with our internal partners, we design and build guest service experiences that enable our agents to deliver industry-leading customer experiences. You will be working on a small but impactful team that interacts with many departments across Arc’teryx, mainly Guest Services, ReBird and Digital Marketing.The Discovery team is responsible for conducting research & discovery on a variety of projects, many involving or impacting our Salesforce ecosystem – and then moving into Delivery phases. The wider team is organized into squads that include developers, administrators, quality analysts, business analysts, and product managers. We work closely and collaboratively with many other teams, including Operations, Marketing, Finance and Analytics.
If you were the Business Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing :
- Leading the discovery of multiple Guest Services projects, gathering requirements using effective business analysis techniques
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation on a variety of projects and systems
- Developing empathy for the guest / end-user by having the ability to incorporate Human Centered Design principles and guest journey mapping
- Consulting with stakeholders and acting as a conduit between stakeholders and development squads
- Translating business requirements into detailed and actionable specifications and requirements documents, calling out dependencies where relevant
- Collaborating efficiently and effectively by building strong relationships with cross-functional teams within the overall technology department and across the business
- Creating understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences, including leadership level
- Documenting detailed user stories, process flows, systems diagram flows, and acceptance criteria that will be used for business process review, systems architecture, web development, quality assurance and change management
- Working with stakeholders and development squads to plan, groom and prioritise the product backlog to ensure work focuses on features that align with business priorities
- Organising and facilitating user acceptance testing with business users
- Supporting the testing and validation of system changes to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver the desired outcomes
- Identifying and documenting current and future business process, changes, and improvements to facilitate change management
- Maintaining process and system documentation as business and systems evolve
