Maintenance Electrical Engineer

Overview

Raise is currently hiring a Maintenance Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our client is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.

Pay Rate : $41.45 / hour, depending on experience. Contract Length : 1 year. Location : Burnaby, British Columbia.

Note : The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Program Development : Design and implement preventive maintenance programs for electricity generation equipment. This includes authoring maintenance procedures, instructions, and record forms.
• Asset Support : Identify and select critical spare parts required to sustain continuous equipment operation.
• System Analysis : Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals to articulate system functionality, identify potential failure modes, and recommend design or maintenance interventions to mitigate risks.
• Project Delivery : Manage deliverables to ensure they are completed with high quality, within budget, and on schedule.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Coordinate with engineering subject matter experts (SMEs), field personnel, and regulatory bodies to align maintenance strategies with operational needs.
• Safety & Compliance : Support safety-related initiatives and ensure all programs meet the rigorous internal and external standards.
