Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Controller role located in Victoria, BC. The Controller will oversee the financial operations of Derma Spa's three clinics, perform bookkeeping, manage budgets, analyze financial data, and generate financial reports. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing payroll, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and operations. The Controller will also collaborate with various departments to improve financial processes and contribute to the organization’s overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
• Strong proficiency with accounting software, financial analysis, and compliance standards
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• CPA designation or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience in the medical or wellness industry is advantageous
