At our Cascades in Calgary, AB you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging division of our team as the Production Scheduler :

  • Implement and execute the plant's production plan to maximize available resources and optimize inventories.
  • Plan material requirements and purchase requisitions to ensure timely supply of production materials.
  • Communicate changes to the production schedule to the production planner and logistics department.
  • Identify and propose alternative solutions to address production variances.
  • Analyze production capacity and workload to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for optimal resource utilization.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes, leveraging industry best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Track production metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Maintain and manage short-term production scheduling to ensure quality customer service and maximize production yield.

You too, will put forward your strengths :

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in planning or supply chain in the Manufacturing field.
  • APIS Certification or other Supply Chain Management delegation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit and customer-centric approach.
