Assistant Superintendent

Our client located in Vancouver, is looking for a Finishing Superintendent who will be primarily involved in supporting the general superintendent in managing all phases of this complex project.

Previous experience in residential high-rise or wood-frame projects as an Assistant Superintendent, Lead Foreman or CSO (with carpentry ticket), from start-to-finish, is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in managing the construction operations on site by adhering to schedules, budgets, safety and risk;
• Effectively manage construction staff and sub-contractors by providing guidance and leadership on construction activities and developing effectively liaise between the staff and the project manager;
• Develop and execute project work plans aimed at keeping the project on track and on budget;

REQUIREMENTS :

• Experience in minimum of 1 residential high rise project or large multi-family wood-frame project, from start to finish, as an Assistant Site Superintendent, Lead Foreman or Carpenter with CSO certification;
• Demonstrable ability to lead residential construction projects in various phases concurrently;
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
