Summer Landscape Technician / Crew Member

Job Description :

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Summer Landscape Technician to join our dynamic landscaping team. This full-time position is focused on providing high-quality garden maintenance and installation services, with the opportunity to learn and develop landscaping skills. As a key part of our team, you’ll support the day-to-day operations, assisting with various landscaping tasks, and contributing to a positive team environment. Whether you're an experienced landscaper or just starting out, we’re excited to help you grow your skills and knowledge in the landscape management field.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform garden maintenance tasks including cultivating, weeding, fertilizing, perennial care, and pruning to maintain high-quality standards.
• Participate in early morning team activities, including loading trucks and trailers, watering, and weeding plant inventory.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up worksites, including sweeping and blowing debris at the end of the day.
• Operate small landscaping equipment such as backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and other hand tools.
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and outdoor containers.
• Assist with garden construction activities such as digging, site preparation, planting, and mulching.
• Work with river rock, lay flagstone, and install armor stone as needed.
• Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Follow on-site health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
• Use job management software (e.g., Jobber) to track time and provide updates as required.
• Continuously learn and expand your landscape maintenance and garden installation knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned to support team goals and client satisfaction.
