Refrigeration B Operator - Direct Hire

Location : Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo, ON

Shift : Night Shift (10 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Wage : $50.00 / hour (inclusive of shift premium)

Job Type : Full-Time | Direct Hire

Seeking an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration A or B Operator for the Night shift at GRF. Refrigeration Operators with a valid Millwright 433A or Industrial Electrician 442A certification will be given preference for this position.

Requirements

Valid Refrigeration B license and / or Millwright license

Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience, ideally in the food industry

Knowledge of Health & Safety (H&S) practices

Basic welding skills

Experience working with hydraulics

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems

Conduct daily readings, preventive maintenance, and complete all documentation

Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment

Support HVAC and refrigeration system operations

Follow SOPs and regulatory compliance guidelines

Ensure tasks are completed within budget and timelines

Perform other related duties as assigned
