At Maison d'Étude Academy, our tutors are expected to motivate, inspire, and empower students with skills and confidence to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Role Description :
- Provide academic support to students in-home or at our location in downtown Montreal.
- Provide supplemental assignments and resources (provided) to students to help promote greater understanding of material.
- Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.
- Communicate with parents / guardians to discuss student progress.
- Use Maison d'Étude Academy's software system for booking and entering notes.
Qualifications :
- Energetic, passionate, creative, and enthusiastic individuals
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Enjoy working with students & families
- Great communication and organization skills
- Have areas of subject specialization ( Applied Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology)
- Computer literate
- Bilingualism an asset
- Must provide a police background check
