Red Seal Millwright (47 to 50 per hour)

Overview

Our client is a long standing leader in the manufacturing sector successfully operating throughout the Western Canadian region for several decades. There is a current need within the Vancouver area plant to bring on an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic / millwright. The successful candidate will be a Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright and bring a strong knowledge of maintenance and repair of equipment commonly used in plant manufacturing / production practices such as : conveyors pumps vacuums motors gearboxes generators compressors shafts and bearings.

Hired candidate will have an outstanding track record of safety and reporting with a knowledge of relevant BC regulatory requirements.

Must be comfortable working in union environment and be available for rotating shift work.

Company offers $47-50 per hour plus outstanding benefits and pension plan.

Requirements

• Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright (Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic)
• Available for rotating shift work
• Comprehensive experience with minor and major plant equipment repairs and maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Team player with ability to add talent a great attitude and knowledge to a successful stable company
