The Opportunity :

IMP Group is searching for a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join our IT department. Under the direction of the Director, Networks and Cybersecurity, the Cybersecurity Operations Analyst will be an integral part of a team responsible for information security.

What You Will Do :

• Triage cybersecurity alerts from various solutions
• Assist in security incident investigations, including remediation and root cause analysis
• Coordinate remediation of high priority vulnerabilities
• Ensure Microsoft O365 and Azure conditional access and other security policies comply with best practices
• Assist in the data classification process and ensuring principles of least privilege are enforced
• Creation and deployment of security alert notifications
• Support of various identity and access management solutions including Microsoft Azure AD, MDM, and MFA

What You Need to Succeed :

• Post-secondary education in Information Technology or comparable experience
• Industry certifications in Cybersecurity considered an asset but not necessary
• Demonstrate professionalism through communication and overall conduct
• Customer focused - Patient, approachable, and able to adapt
• Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
