Hays is proud to partner once again with this established developer inmercial real estate. Together, we are seeking the new Vice-President, Property Management.
Your new role
Responsible for all operations of the property management department;
Ensure you haveplete analyzes for maintenance and / or capitalization expenses
- Review and rmend the business plans for each asset with a view to maintaining and improving the value of the assets and the customer experience;
- Responsible for analyzing capital expenditure budgets based on a 5-year horizon;
Rmend the adoption of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Ensure the proper management of the various property service contracts with multiple suppliers;
- See to the proper management of expenses according to the budget;
- Ensure the proper management of maintenance and security teams throughout the portfolio, including all other personnel who happen to work at the respective properties;
- Ensurepliance with schedules and deadlines regarding the planning and management of buildings;
- Ensure the proper use of all technological tools put in place;
Promote and maintain good relationships in line with thepany's mission and values.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining processes and procedures;
- Approve monthly property status reports;
- Manage and lead meetings with department employees;
- Responsible for Boma Best certification;
- Ensure the production of budgetary analyzes to measure the opportunity for an investment, the alignment of interests with partners and the projected return;
- Responsible for supervising all coordination with a prospect until the opening of the business in collaboration with the rental department (monitoring the work of the lessor and tenant, estimating costs, monitoring plans, obtaining permits, certificate of insurance, etc.);
- Ensure that there is good coordination with the tenants and good monitoring between departments to respect deadlines and opening times for businesses;
- Perform any other task necessary for their duties;
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 10 years of experience inmercial property management, including 5 in team management;
- Have several years of experience in managing the entirepany portfolio;
- Proficient in French and English, oral and written;
- Be able to work under pressure;
- Demonstratemunication skills, autonomy, initiative, a sense of organization and problem-solving;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
