Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with Terraform Cloud and GitHub experience to develop and deploy cloud-native applications for a large North American cloud migration program .
North American client with a corporate office in downtown Calgary. Hybrid working environment. Ideally looking for a local candidate to Calgary but open to candidates across Canada willing to work MST hours.
Must Haves :
- 10+ years as an Azure DevOps Engineer with Terraform Cloud experience
- Microservices architecture using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
- GitHub experience
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) & Docker experience
- CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) experience
- Security scanning tools (Snyk, SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security) experience
- Azure Functions & App Services experience
Nice to Have :
- AWS cloud-native services (Lambda, ECS, EKS) experience
- ServiceNow (integrating DevOps workflows) experience
- Azure DevOps (managing application deployment pipelines) experience
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using Terraform Cloud for Azure.
- Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Implement microservices architecture using Infrastructure as Code.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices, including static code scanning and security monitoring.
- Deploy and manage serverless functions in Azure and AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable cloud solutions.
