Sr. Change Manager to support an enterprise wide transformational program for a large banking client - -1

Duration : 12 months (possibility for extension)

Location : Hybrid - Downtown Toronto (2 times / week)

The Change Manager will act as a People and Deployment Readiness Workstream lead overseeing and integrating the efforts of change management, training, customer experience, marketing and front line delivery.

Must Have Skills :

  • 5+ years of Change Management experience working on large scale business transformation projects
  • Strong background in data / technology / agile projects
  • Establish and manage communications processes and conducting stakeholder impact assessments
  • Experience creating change management strategy roadmaps / timelines
  • Banking / Finance experience

Nice To Have Skills :

  • Certification in Change Management methodology
  • Familiarity with Project Management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience creating business process documentation / technical writing
  • Have a testing background (we occasionally may need help with UAT testing so experience with drafting UAT plans, defect management and UAT exit reports)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead People and Deployment Readiness Workstream including integrating the efforts of change management training, customer experience, marketing and front line delivery
  • Creating comprehensive change management strategy roadmaps and timelines
  • Conducting thorough stakeholder impact assessments
  • Managing and facilitating training sessions for project stakeholders.
  • Creating transition and sustainment plans to support project closure.
  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the changes impacting employees and customers
  • Develop a change management strategy based on assessment of the change
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans including stakeholder assessments, communication plan, leadership alignment plan, readiness and sustainment plan, and change metrics
  • Execute on the tactical details of each plan
  • Support the communication, training and engagement efforts of employee-facing managers and business leaders
  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
