Reporting to the Mechanical Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation of required design sketches, technical / as-built drawings, specifications, cost estimates and project schedules.

Other responsibilities include, but not limited to developing, planning, organizing and scheduling maintenance and any other assigned activities with regards to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and direct digital control systems.

The successful applicant will also be required to coordinate minor renovations projects using a variety of resources.The applicant will have demonstrable computer skills with drafting software, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Familiarity with DDC systems and specialized building automation software would be an asset.Qualifications : Possession of an accredited degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized technical institute or university is required.

The candidate must be eligible for registration as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) in BC with five years practical experience Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License This is a unionized position that offers an hourly wage rate of $38.
