Asset Coordinator

Overview

Insight Global is looking for an Asset Dispatcher for one of our transportation / logistics clients in Milton, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning the daily dispatch of drivers and vehicles to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods or services. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage dynamic transportation schedules while optimizing routes, loads, and resource utilization. This position requires strong and effective customer relations and communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years in trucking / logistics dispatch (LTL strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of cross-border (Canada-USA) freight operations
• Proficiency with TMS systems (Transplus or similar), Microsoft Excel / Power BI
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to act on data insights
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
