Graphic Designer - Part Time

Do you have experience retouching photos? Do you have advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Can you start immediately?

We're currently looking for a Graphic Designer in Montreal.

• 9am to 5pm, with 1 hour lunch
• 6-month assignment
• Part-time position (2-3 days / week)

Responsibilities

• Retouches photos according to the brand standards + CC
• Deliver the job according to each brand places on final products.
• Archives Photos.
• Place archives files (how to keep the final tiff version and jpgs).
• Name file folders so they can be cohesive with the client’s workflow and servers.
• keep their own files for 6 months (working files in HR quality and final products in jpg).
• Manage job in-take via email or on-line ordering tool. Create job tickets for production, send files to print with appropriate set up.
• Perform other related activities as determined by management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of graphic design experience
• Graphic design / fine arts diploma / degree
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong working knowledge of Word, PPT and Excel
• Understand digital colour environment and requirements, able to prepress files in this environment
• Working knowledge of multimedia software (i.e. Director)
• Strong leadership and ability to work with others in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
