Quality Technician (2 positions)

Quality Technician (2 positions)

The Quality Technician is responsible for driving the ISO, quality, sampling, stewardship compliance, and related programs at the site, ensuring quality and alignment with applicable procedures.

The Quality Technician is responsible to oversee and support the sites manufacturing of quality seed products.

We have 2 positions available at this time :

• one permanent position at our Coaldale / Lethbridge, AB site; and
• one, 12-month position at our Cranbrook, BC site.

What you will do :

Who you are :

High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License. In order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers – MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening

Able to prioritize work schedule; Demonstrates some ability to work independently

Ability to support others in completing assigned tasks

Follows policies and procedures

Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. (a bag of seed)

Ability to work overtime as business needs require

Preferred :

Experience driving / executing quality procedures for a ISO9001 or similar process, for a manufacturing environment

Worked in a manufacturing environment

Experience in seed production

Computer skills / SAP experience

Competent performing basic data analysis and root cause analysis

Bachelor's degree
