About the Program
The Future Ready Institute (FRI) is the Council for Canada’s service delivery organization. The intent is to provide every member of the Jamat who desires it, access to quality, comprehensive services and mentorship opportunities to achieve their goals in the following areas :
- Wellness
- Individual and Family Development
- Livelihoods and the Future of Work
- Settlement and Newcomer Services
FRI uses OJCMS (One Jamat Case Management System) to deliver its services to the Jamat.
About the Role
As part of the OJCMS Administration, Support, and Training team, the OJCMS Trainer will report to the Sr. Manager responsible for OJCMS Administration, Training, and Support, and will be part of the overall FRI Technology, Data Analytics, and Reporting Team.
In addition to this, the OJCMS Trainer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
- Assist the Sr. Manager to facilitate OJCMS training for the various FRI user groups such as the Family Mentorship Program (FMP) Navigators and Family Mentors, Settlement Excellence, Livelihood Coaches, and other users.
- Assist with providing first level telephone and virtual support to users when required.
- Assist with testing new changes and enhancements to the system.
- Contribute towards the development of training content when required.
- Assist with data migration when required.
About You
Preferred Skills & Qualities :
- Commitment to the role. This is a role that requires one to interact with adult users, and therefore, the right candidate must understand how adults learn technical content.
- The right candidate is expected to work collaboratively with other trainers.
- Attention to details and standards of excellence.
- Must be organized and have excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Outlook and Teams, and previous experience with technical training will be considered a great asset.
- Open to providing assistance in other areas such telephone and virtual support, development of Step-by-Step guides and videos, and other training material.
