Position : Journeyperson Commercial Electrician
Position : Registered Apprentices

Role Summary
The role of the electrician will be responsible for constructing and repairing electrical systems.
Primary Responsibility
- Follow Procedures as defined in the current CEC code.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring equipment and fixtures using both hand & power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with CEC codes
- Electrical construction applications
Education & Experience
- Proof of apprenticeship level or journeyman certification is required
- Good communication skills
- Commercial experience
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Clean drivers abstract (within 30 days)
- CSTS-09 or CSO / BSO certification
- OSSA approved AWP & Fall Protection
- WHIMIS
- First Aid
- Comprehensive drug, alcohol, and physical demand assessment
- Valid Journeyman certification
- Registered with accredited Apprenticeship Board
