Sansom Equipment Limited is the leading distributor and service provider for pumps, generators, blowers, valves, VFDs, Magnetic Flowmeters, Instrumentation, Chemical Injection Pumps and packaged engineered systems for industrial and municipal applications across Eastern Canada.

We are currently looking for a Parts Representative to join our professional team of aftermarket parts people in our Truro branch. This role includes sales development responsibilities with our Industrial, Municipal and Commercial end user account groups within the province of Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities

• Aftermarket parts business for company sold pumps, generators, blowers, valves, VFDs, flowmeters, instrumentation, chemical injection pumps and packaged engineered systems for industrial and municipal applications
• Responsible for responding to phone and email inquiries in an efficient and expeditious manner – this position requires immediate action on part requests due to the nature of the business
• Responsible for updating business software applications with creation of purchase orders, inventory receipts, packing slips, and inventory fulfillment for processing
• Shipping and receiving of goods
• Inventory tracking and periodic physical counting of inventory to meet operational needs
• Working in a collaborative manner with our clients to provide innovative solutions to their aftermarket parts needs
• Customer service responsibilities with the ability to provide excellent customer service to external as well as internal customers
• Some after hour work may be required to respond to emergency breakdowns
