Salary :

HAYDEN Diamond Bit Industries Ltd. specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of diamond coring bits and other diamond products for the worlds mining and exploration industry.We are seeking for Setters in Richmond, BC.

Objectives :

The Setter is responsible for following and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure high-quality diamond and carbide setting and powder packing. This role requires adherence to specified guidelines and active participation in improving the process through feedback and collaboration with the Quality Department.

Responsibilities :

• Execute setting operations according to works orders and ensure that all duties and tasks are performed according to safety and quality standards and SOPs.
• Execute packing operations according to works orders and ensure that all duties and tasks are performed according to safety and quality standards and SOPs.
• Operation of small pressing machines
• Using the computer to receive work order information and enter production data
• Perform general housekeeping, keeping work area clean. Completing tools cleaning tasks and routine maintenance work as assigned.
• Any other duties required by leadhand.

Requirements :

Competent in the English language and able to communicate efficiently

Must not be allergic to dust, graphite or metal compounds.

Shift : 2 : 30 PM to 11 : 00 PM & 11 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM
