Early Childhood Educator – Temporary Part‑Time

The Temporary Part‑Time Early Childhood Educator (ECE) helps create a safe, warm, inviting, and nurturing environment where young children can develop, grow, and learn in a way that best supports their individual needs. This role requires a willingness to work with children of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all health and safety requirements within the room in accordance with Fraser Health licensing regulations.
• Observe children in their surroundings, assess individual and group needs, and complete child progress reports.
• Check toys and equipment for safety hazards and appropriate functioning.
• Supervise indoor and outdoor play as required.
• Promote an environment that celebrates the diversity of families, children, and their individual learning and care needs.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Be physically active and responsive to children's physical needs, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
